Opening Weekend Bodes Well For Osman Racing

After three weeks of part failures and misfortune, Osman Racing's return to the racetrack resulted in a pair of top five finishes.

Saturday May 12th put the team at the tight 1/5th mile Macon Speedway in Macon, IL. A good draw would put them on the pole of the first heat race. A heavy and muddy track would push them back to a 4th place finish and a 7th place starting position for the feature. At the drop of the green, the Osman Racing Monte Carlo jumped ahead a few positions and stayed in the top 5 for the entire race. With 5 laps to go, Terry Reed (11) dropped out, moving (Greg) Osman up to 4th place, and that is where he would finish, a career best.

Mother's were abound on the 13th of May as Osman Racing traveled to Peoria Speedway for action on Mother's day. Again, benefitting from a good draw, the Osman Racing Monte Carlo would start on the pole of the heat race and, once again, would finish in 4th place. Due to a 7 car inversion, they would earn a pole position starting spot for the feature. At the drop of the green, they took off to the lead and ran the highside of the track, trying to make something work where others could not. It wouldn't work as well as hoped, but they still managed to stay in the top 5 all night and finish in a respective 5th place giving them 2 top fives in the first 2 nights

The next race is still undecided so keep updated on our facebook page to find out where we will be next!
