(Macon, IL) Osman Racing took a very aggressive approach to their last week of racing, ending in the best possible place: victory lane!

The week started with three consecutive days of racing at Lincoln Speedway on August 10. The night wouldn't end well as a good portion of the body was ripped off in an accident on the first lap, ending in a DNF.

August 11 took the team to Macon Speedway. A strong second place run in the heat race put them in a great spot for the feature but thing would inevitably turn sour. While running in the top five, something in the rear end let loose, spinning the car and ending the night in another DNF.

The next night put them back at Lincoln Speedway an things would start to turn around. They would put together a solid showing, coming home in sixth place.

Wednesday took the team to Fairbury American Legion Speedway for their traditional Fair Race. While running second in the heat race, there was inadvertent contact with another car that relegated them to a dismal finish. After starting 11th in the feature, they worked their way up and settled for an eighth place finish.

August 17th took the team back to Lincoln Speedway where they put in another solid performance. Started seventh in the heat race and came up to a fourth place finish giving them a sixth place starting spot for the feature event. Upon the start of the feature, they made it up to a high of third (briefly) before settling back in and finishing a respectable fifth place finish.

August 18th at Macon Speedway belonged to Osman Racing. A dismal draw would put them in the back of their respective heat race. After starting eighth, they would work their way up to a third place finish, gaining them the honor of top point earner in passing points for the evening. After the inversion of the top four passing point earners, Osman Racing rolled off of the grid in fourth place. As the race commenced, they quickly worked to the bottom of the track where the fastest groove was. After about five laps, they had worked their way up to second place before the race's only caution slowed down the pace. As the race winded down, time was running out for the team to make a move. Coming out of turn four to get the white flag, leader Mike Pundt, Jr. left enough of a hole for Greg Osman to get a nose underneath and made the pass for the lead in turn two. He held on for the rest of the lap to bring home Osman Racing's first win in a fendered car.
