Momentum Riding High for Osman Racing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Macon, IL) The last three weeks have been high with momentum for Osman Racing, resulting in a 1.67 average feature finish over those three weeks.

August 30 was the 10th Annual Illinois State Street Stock Championship at Macon Speedwayand it was an up and down night. After qualifying in the seventh position out of twenty-two entrants we would roll off the grid from the second position in the heat race. We would jump out to an early lead but a driving error by our driver, Greg Osman, would relegate us to a fourth place finish. After the disappointment in the heat race, we had our work cut out for us in the thirty lap feature, having to start in the fifteenth position. A very well prepped race track allowed us to drive forward through the race and misfortune for another competitor on the last lap garnered us a second place finish. A very good end to an up and down night.

The next week saw a completely different race track, but similar results. We rolled of the grid in the heat race from the tail of the field (sixth) after a poor draw we quickly drove to the second place position. Another driving error put us in a poor spot but we lucked out when a few other drivers had some misfortune. We finished the heat race in the third position. We started the feature in the third position. We quickly settled into the second position and that is where we would end up.

The last three races have been a real momentum builder for us. With finishes of first, second and second, we have an average finish of 1.67. Looking towards the end of this year and next year, we are very optimistic.

Our next race will be this Saturday (September 13) at Macon Speedway.
