Osman Powers to Convincing Win
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Macon, IL) The trials and tribulations of dirt track racing seem to have been lifted from the Osman Racing team, as they put together a solid weekend of racing, ending in victory lane.
Friday August 22nd saw the team back at Jacksonville Speedway for the Craig Anders Memorial Big Ten Street Stock Series race. The team would roll of the heat race grid from the seventh position and, after a hard fought battle, finished in fourth, transferring to the main event. The team had their work cut out for them as they would start the 20 lap feature event in the eleventh position but patience would be key on this night and they ended up with a solid sixth place finish.
Saturday August 23rd would see all the stars align as the team made another trip to Macon Speedway for a back-to-back weekend of Big Ten Street Stock Series action. Starting the heat race in the second position, they would jump out to the early lead and go on to take the win, in convincing fashion, by almost five seconds. This gave them a second place start for the feature and after a brief battle with Nick Justice, they would jump out front and take the win, again in convincing fashion.
Next on the schedule for Osman Racing is the 10th Annual Illinois State Street Stock Championship at Macon Speedway on August 30. This is also the finale for the Big Ten Street Stock Series.
See you at the track!
